Travel that crosses several time zones shifts our internal clock in relation to natural cycles (day/night, etc.). Arriving at your destination, the symptoms are still the same. Fatigue in the middle of the day, a desire to have lunch at 4 p.m. or even nights without getting to sleep are the lot of every frequent traveler, whether they are an adventurer or a businessman. Why these essential oils?

Cinnamon to stimulate you

L'cinnamon essential oil is composed of more than 70% trans-cinnamaldehyde. This molecule belongs to the family of aromatic aldehydes which are recognized general tonics.

Cinnamon essential oil is more precisely sympathicotonic, which means that it stimulates the activity of the sympathetic nervous system. Unlike the parasympathetic, the sympathetic system is responsible for triggering numerous mechanisms preparing the body for action (increase in heart rate and blood pressure, secretions of hormones such as adrenaline, etc.). Thus, the body will be revitalized and fatigue will no longer be felt.

Peppermint to wake you up

L'peppermint essential oil is essential to this “time difference” synergy. The feeling of freshness it gives in the mouth will wake you up immediately.

It is also and above all a heart and nerve tonic essential oil: it stimulates the body and helps to increase blood pressure to give you pep during mid-day pumps. Combined with Cinnamon, Peppermint will be an effective remedy to quickly forget about jet lag!

Lemon to give you energy

L'lemon essential oil has limonene. This molecule belongs to the group of terpenes which are good general stimulants. Thus our synergy, due to its content of menthol, cinnamaldehyde and limonene, will give you all the energy you need in case of pumps.

Furthermore, the taste of lemon in the mouth will make ingesting the mixture pleasant.
