Why these essential oils?

Shelled Marjoram to soothe you

Quitting smoking often causes stress, anxiety and mood swings. It is therefore necessary to act at the nervous level to regulate these states caused by lack of tobacco. L'shell Marjoram essential oil has the power to counter these states of nervous instability. It has a molecule, terpinen-4-ol, which is responsible for powerful parasympathicotonic activity. The parasympathetic nervous system manages different parameters such as lowering heart rate or reducing stress hormone levels. Its stimulation by terpinèn-4-ol in people going through withdrawal will therefore have a soothing and calming effect: Shelled Marjoram will be an ally in the fight against tobacco when nervousness takes over.

L’Angélique, the anti-addiction reference

L'angelica essential oil is recognized in aromatherapy as being the reference for getting rid of addictions to soft drugs. It was therefore essential to integrate it into this synergy against tobacco dependence. Its unique composition of terpene molecules, coumarins and esters gives it these anti-addiction properties and has a powerful anxiolytic action at the indicated doses.

When stress mounts and smoking a cigarette seems to be the one and only solution, Angelique essential oil will then come to the aid of Shelled Marjoram to prevent cracking up and cause immediate and beneficial relaxation.

Exotic Verbena to fight against cravings

During the period of limiting or stopping smoking, the hardest thing is to cope with the lack of nicotine in the body. L'exotic Verbena essential oil comes here to help in the fight against this feeling of lack. Its main components are citrals (70%) whose virtues are widely studied today. Indeed, they have an inhibitory action on a specific enzyme (CYP2B6 hydroxylase). The latter is a molecule involved in the metabolization (and more precisely the oxidation) of nicotine by the body, participating in the dependence mechanism. By inhibiting this molecule, citrals could therefore be of real help in the weaning process.

In addition, citrals are terpene aldehydes with a calming action which will complement the effects of Angelica and Shelled Marjoram essential oils. Finally, breathing in the fresh and tangy scent of Exotic Verbena will help you regain serenity and well-being during this difficult phase.

Eucalyptus Radiata to clean the respiratory tract

Eucalyptus is in all herbal cigarettes sometimes sold as a substitute, and it is also often found as a component of some nicotine lozenges. We have chosen to integrate into our mixture against tobacco dependence theeucalyptus Radiata essential oil for its good smell and its refreshing power which will make the olfaction of this synergy pleasant.

In addition, the 1,8-cineole present mainly in its composition is a natural expectorant. By stimulating the hair cells of the respiratory tract, the elimination of toxins and tars stuck to the walls of the bronchi will be favored and accelerated. You will feel invigorated, your breathing capacity will be increased and your motivation to quit smoking will only be reinforced!
